I have an unusual recipe from my Grandmother. She used to make it
for my Grandfather who called it "Sweet Cheese". He would spread it on his
bread, rolls, or lefse.
Sweet Cheese
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
Take the label off the can and put it in a small pot with water to just cover.
Time it when it begins to boil for 1 hour. DO NOT TOUCH THE CAN
Turn off heat and let it set for 1 hour undisturbed.
When cool to touch open the can, it will have turned a honey-like consistency,
spreadable and ready to go.
